My stay at APA Hotel & Resort Tokyo Bay Makuhari was defined by several positive aspects. The convenient location near the train station and the beach was a major plus, making traveling and exploration easy. The rooms were elegantly designed, spacious, well-equipped, and offered delightful views. The availability of different dining options, including a Dim-Sum buffet, pizza café, and Teppanyaki dishes, was impressive and catered to diverse culinary preferences. The services offered by the hotel were another high point of my stay. From the excellent housekeeping service to the 24-hour front desk and the availability of two Lawsons convenience stores within the hotel premises, the guest experience was prioritized at all times. The spa facilities, which included a public bath and a variety of body treatments, added an extra layer of relaxation and indulgence to my stay. Finally, the vast selection for breakfast and the quality of food was highly commendable. I also enjoyed the presence of good shops and restaurants nearby, providing an array of options for leisure and dining. Overall, I was thrilled with the quality of service and facilities at the hotel.

Location. This hotel is very convenient for working around Makuhari, with a nice walkway access from Makuhari Messe train station, even with luggage on hand, OR by using airport shuttle bus from Haneda airport. There are many shops and eating places within 10-to 15-minute walk to the station, in addition to many restaurants and two convenience stores on site. There is also a shuttle van to and from Makuhari Messe station, which is a plus! Most single rooms are small and compact, with comfortable beds and two types of pillows to choose from, but it means that the bathroom is quite cramped and probably not convenient for bigger built guests, and no closet for hanging many clothes. Checking-in procedure is by yourself and may be problematic for non-Japanese speakers but there are always nice staff around to assist. I like it that the room, especially the bath and toilet, are always clean every time I stayed there. Most of all, I'm grateful that my wish to stay in a higher floor was granted and I was assigned a room in the top floor in the East Wing!

The location, as always! It is very convenient to get there, especially when you use the shuttle bus to and from Haneda airport. There are many on-site restaurants to choose from, as well as two convenient stores. Public baths are available for females only on the first floor of the East Wing. I like the arrangement of the room this time because the spaces are maximized, unlike the other rooms I was assigned before, although both are in the East Wing. The bed is comfortable and there are two kinds of pillows to choose from for your preference. I'm so glad that I paid much less for the room this time, possibly because of the timing. There are free movies to watch and English news (BBC) on TV. The shower pressure was satisfying and check out was a breeze, as always.

I liked how hospitable the staff at the information counter were. Guests can't check in till 3pm so that's a bit of a wait but there are things to do around the area so it was ok. It's just 10 minute walk to/from the Kaihimmakuhari station and restaurants which is convenient to get around. It's a short bus ride to AEON Mall and 10-minute walk to the Makuhari Messe exhibition hall. The room is very comfortable and clean. I had a flask to boil water to make tea/coffee and a fridge to keep food in. The bathroom was clean, hot water worked well, water pressure was good, towel was clean and soft. The bed was really comfortable and the airconditioning worked well. I had a nice view of the ocean.

The hotel is well located close to restaurants and a 10-minute walk to the Kaihin Makuhari station. There are two convenient stores, on the first and second floors, and several on-site restaurants to choose from. You can order food to be delivered to your hotel room. This time I had a nice twin room for the price of one single room in the west wing. The view is much nicer on the East Wing, but I was very glad that the staff granted my request to have a non-smoking room, which is more important to me. The room was clean and tidy, with comfortable beds. Overall, the experience was satisfactory. I will stay here again next time.
